For CLI Sponsors - Parish and High School Leaders who Sponsor Youth for CLI
 

Thank you for sending your young people to CLI!  

Your pastoral and financial support of youth testifies to your belief in the gifts of young people and your desire to more fully involve them in the life and activity of your community.

The Department of Youth & Young Adult Ministry wants to help you have the best possible “return” on your investment in young leaders. Leadership training is only as valuable as its follow up! This follow up includes the following characteristics:

• Young people who are trained for leadership must be intentionally and personally invited to use their skills and abilities in leadership roles. 
• They must be affirmed by adult leaders and encouraged to share their gifts with the larger community. 
• Pastoral leaders must prepare their community to welcome young leaders and include them in the life, mission and work of the community. 

To help you make the most of your investment in CLI, we are happy to extend this special invitation:

• As a CLI Sponsor, you are invited and encouraged to join the CLI 2011 community for the Planning Skills Workshop on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM at the St. Columban Center in Derby. 
• Kindly RSVP to Heather Wolcott hwolcott@buffalodiocese.org by Monday, June 20.

Sponsors are asked to fill out and send in the Sponsor Form by Thursday, June 16, 2011.
