Other Sponsorship Opportunities

  • Registration Bags - $1,000 – every conference participant gets a bag with your logo on it!
  • Prayer Area in Expo - $2,000 – help to provide a prayerful, engaging atmosphere for teens in the Expo and have your organization’s logo, name and message shared on signage!
  • Games Area in Expo - $2,000 – sponsor the fun and games at the Expo (video games, basketball free throws, inflatable, etc.) and have your organization’s logo, name and message shared on signage!
  • Service Area in the Expo - $2,000 - sponsor the service and justice area at the Expo (service projects, exhibits for service providers, etc.) and have your organization’s logo, name and message shared on signage!
  • Concert - $2,000 – sponsor the Friday evening concert and have your organization’s logo, name and message shared on the big screens!
  • Dance - $1,000 – sponsor Saturday evening’s dance and share your logo, name and message on signage!
  • Meals - $10,000 – sponsor one of the meals (Saturday lunch or Sunday brunch) and have your organization recognized on tent cards on each table!

Exhibits


Organizations will benefit from having an exhibit at the Expo at the Diocesan Youth Convention. The Expo offers prayer, service and social opportunities for young people and allows you to promote your organization with the 800+ high school youth and adults attending the Convention.

Values

The Department of Youth & Young Adult Ministry of the Diocese of Buffalo, which sponsors the Diocesan Youth Convention, has established value statements for the Convention’s Expo. Within the overall Expo values are a set of values to guide the selection and placement of all exhibitors participating in the 2012 Diocesan Youth Convention.

Exhibitors value participation in the Diocesan Youth Convention as an opportunity to energize, evangelize, and be present to our young church in a way that affirms and celebrates who they are and invites them to grow in their faith through active participation in the life and mission of the church. Ideally, a Convention exhibitor meets all of the following criteria:
  1. Exhibitor’s mission and resources reflect the values of the Catholic Church and the Department of Youth & Young Adult Ministry.
  2. Exhibitor’s resources equip participants for Christian discipleship.
  3. Exhibitor acts as a good and responsible steward of resources.
  4. Exhibitor provides and encourages an engaging, educational/catechetical, and interactive space that is youth-friendly, fun, and festive.
  5. Exhibitor reflects the diversity of the church and local community.
  6. Exhibitor seeks out socially-responsible (i.e., free trade companies/nonsweatshop) sources for their promotional materials and items.
In selecting and placing exhibitors, the Department of Youth & Young Adult Ministry values the utilization of exhibit space to reflect a priority for (1) Catholic Church organizations, (2) nonprofit organizations, (3) education and informational organizations, and (4) retailers.

Exhibit Rates for the Expo:

  • Religious Orders and other Catholic non-profit organizations: $50 per exhibit (one 8’ table)
  • Colleges & Universities (Admissions and/or Campus Ministry) or other non-profit organizations: $125 per exhibit (one 8’table)
  • Other organizations or businesses: $200 per exhibit (one 8’table)
  • Organizations may request double-sized exhibits (two 8’ tables) – priced accordingly
To request your exhibit space, complete and submit this reply form and the Exhibitor Registration Form by January 13, 2012.

Benefits for Exhibitors:

  • Admission to Convention general sessions for up to three people (must pre-register with Department of Youth & Young Adult Ministry).  Exhibitor Registration Form
  • Reduced parking rate of $3 per day for the Adam’s Mark lot and/or ramp (if prepaid at the front desk during the Convention)
  • Reduced room rate at the Adam’s Mark Hotel for exhibitors who choose to stay overnight

Please note:

  • Use the Exhibitor Registration Form to reserve your exhibit space and register individuals who will staff your exhibit.
  • Exhibitors who choose to stay overnight at the Adam’s Mark Hotel are offered a reduced room rate ($80 per night) if you book your room(s) directly with the hotel using a Convention Hotel Reservation Form. Payment must be made to the Department of Youth & Young Adult Ministry.
  • Exhibitor registration does not include meals. Two meals are provided during the weekend for Convention participants: Saturday lunch and Sunday brunch. Exhibitors who wish to join us for either meal should note this on their registration form. Cost for each meal is $20 per person.

 

Expo Hours:

Friday, February 17, 2012:

  • 6:00 to 7:00 PM
  • 10:00 to 11:30 PM

Saturday, February 18, 2012:

  • 12:00 to 1:00 PM (optional)
  • 9:00 to 11:30 PM
Exhibitors who wish to be present at the Expo at other times when Convention activities are taking place are welcome to do so. When the youth participants are in sessions, exhibitors may have an opportunity to interact with adults who are taking a break from the gathered sessions.

Exhibit Set Up & Tear Down:


Exhibits should be set up on Friday, February 17 between 1:00 and 5:00 PM.
The Expo closes at 11:30 PM on Saturday, February 18 and all exhibits must be removed at that time.

 

 

Advertising


Organizations will find great benefits from placing an advertisement in the Diocesan Youth Convention program book. The program book is provided to all Convention participants – youth and adults – and shared with all Convention visitors (guests, parents, clergy, exhibitors, etc.). Use the space to give attendees:
  • incentive to visit your booth in the Expo (if exhibiting)
  • your website and e-mail addresses
  • information on your product/service
  • coupons or discounts

Advertising Rates

  • Full Color Inside Front or Back Cover - $300  (4.75” wide x 7.5” high)
  • Black/white Full Page - $175  (4.75” wide x 7.5” high)
  • Black/white Half Page - $100  (4.75” wide x 3.75” high)
  • Black/white Quarter Page - $65  (2.375” wide x 3.75” high)
  • Patron (lists name only) - $25
All artwork should be submitted in digital format (.pdf preferred). If NOT submitting ad in digital format, please submit a camera-ready copy of your ad as you wish it to appear in the program. There is an additional $25 charge for ads that are not submitted in camera-ready condition. All artwork should be black and white (unless cover ad in color), and sized accordingly.
